(Design) a timeline where digital waves wash over real artefacts.
#Installation #ParticleSystem
This flowing timeline is the spatial spine of the whole exhibition, tracing changes in the global environment, the growth of Taiwan's industries, and the role ITRI has played in innovation along the way.
Here, wave-like digital imagery meets the display platform to map out major industry milestones from 1970 to today, decade by decade. The 3D-printed models descending from the far contour lines sketch global trends and the history of Taiwan's industries, while the physical and digital exhibits closer to you mark ITRI's research milestones across the eras. Follow the timeline, and digital imagery and physical exhibits unfold together, revealing the passage of time step by step.
Healthcare in Taiwan is shifting from treating disease to improving quality of life as a whole. ITRI's care for people stays constant—from prevention and detection to treatment and care, guarding everyone's health. This section uses three short explainer videos to walk you through a path from noticing, to treating, to whole-body health, showing how medicine watches over us at every stage of life.
For a sustainable future, ITRI has long invested in green energy and environmental technology, continually seeking ways to coexist between protecting the environment and growing the economy. Here, a central spherical projection paired with a visitor-controlled iPad lets you explore five themes layer by layer, seeing how the ideals of sustainability take shape in one concrete technology after another.
